Megan Sheets, BDT CDT

Born and raised in northern Michigan, I began my dental technology career in May of 2001 and worked for the same lab until I opened my lab in 2017. In 2022 I began building the lab on my property. Owning my own lab has allowed me to focus on the quality of my work, collaborate with doctors that have a shared vision and spend more time with my family. With all of the advanced technology available, the knowledge that was once common in our field is becoming extinct. We run the risk of decreasing quality and knowledge if we just let machines do our job. Dental technology is an art, but it's not simply the beauty of the form, it’s also the importance of the function that is delivered to the patient and how it serves them throughout their lifetime. I look forward to keeping the knowledge alive and sharing it with other people that have a passion that is similar to mine!
