At OBI Foundation, we believe dentistry can be biologic, beautiful, and deeply fulfilling. It’s a privilege to serve as President and to play a role in guiding dental professionals like you toward greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Whether you’re early in your career and searching for direction, you may have completed other restorative or occlusal-based educational programs, or but still have a feeling that something is missing, you’re not alone. I’ve walked that path too. And what changed everything for me was the gift of sight. Seeing what health looks like, we never really looked for health, only disease.
Seeing the chewing system as a whole, including joints, muscles, airway, form, and function, as well as the fascia, and understanding how the chewing system interacts with and affects many other systems. And finally, understanding how to restore balance in the system based on nature’s design, or what we call the principles of Bioesthetics. I had taken many other occlusal and restorative programs but the outcome was never as certain as it is now. That’s because this residency style of learning is based on you treating someone from your own practice. This isn’t your normal didactic program or hands – on lab modules, the hands on learning here is real-like, practice situations.
That’s what we teach at OBI. But more than that, we walk beside you.
This isn’t a journey you’ll take alone, and you will never be lost. You’ll have a mentor as well as being assigned an angel — these members of the team are available to you on short notice to see you through whatever challenge you may be experiencing. You’ll complete real cases. And you’ll join a community of clinicians who believe in biologic truth, lifelong learning, and the power of personal transformation.
This path isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. And we are truly honored to walk it with you.
